Not related as far as I know, but they are by coincidence both half siamese, and both possesed by the spirits of malevolent djinn. At least it seems that way when I'm trying to get to sleep at night and they won't bloody leave me alone.
I used to have a Burmese cat and it was the most 'human' cat I've ever known. I wonder if Siamese cats are the same. It would never, ever leave me alone and would follow me everywhere. It was a tiny little thing. I loved it to bits. It was called 'Bamboo' - they are very clingy these siamese types you know.
